Rubicon aims to more than double its charging network by end of 2024

Engineering News is celebrating our aim to expand the Rubicon EV charging network to more than 250 chargers by the end of 2024. For many of these chargers, we are incorporating renewable energy systems and built-in battery packs, and plan to add wheeled energy to the mix to reduce any additional pressure on the grid.

Head of e-mobility, Greg Blandford, envisions future technology that may include micro-grid controllers that feed power to chargers in specific areas during selected times, with the goal to reduce the burden on the Eskom grid.
