The HV Box WeCo XP is a management module for WeCo 5K3 XP batteries, only necessary for high-voltage use. It allows the connection of up to 750 volts in batteries for operation with the inverters compatible with the list provided by WeCo. In high voltage, we can build battery systems of more than 560 kWh.
HV Box WeCo XP for High Voltage Operation
The WeCo 5K3 XP battery is the only one on the market with dual BMS for both high and low voltage. For low voltage operation, no accessories are required, and the battery's own BMS manages the balancing and communication between batteries. However, if we want to use the batteries in series for a high voltage connection, we need to use the HV Box to manage the interconnected modules. The HV Box is installed at the top of the system, and from it, the power and communication connections to the photovoltaic inverter are made.
